I live in the desert and I love gardening. What can I say? I'm an optimist.

I'm taking (baby) steps toward living more sustainably. Perhaps along the way I will shed some light for others upon the joys and occasional mishaps of going the Way of the Green.

So far I've seemed to focus mostly on growing food and gardening -- because those things totally rule.

Current Projects

Compost bin(s) going strong. Began in July 2011; I've got two piles over there now. I've had six finished batches.

No paper towels. Haven't used them since 2010.
